Brief Description of the Event:
The Deal Mediation Competition (DMC) is a national-level academic competition designed to provide law students with hands-on exposure to commercial negotiation and mediation in deal-making scenarios. The competition focuses on developing practical skills such as problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication, and collaborative dispute resolution. Through simulated commercial disputes and structured mediation rounds, DMC aims to bridge the gap between theoretical legal education and real-world alternative dispute resolution practice.

Eligibility:
The participants shall be from any of the 3 Year LLB or 5 Year Integrated LLB Course.
Each team will consist of three participants (a client, a counsel, and a mediator) from the same institution.
Event Structure:
The Competition will consist of 3 rounds:
(a) Preliminary Rounds
(b) Semi-Final Rounds
(c) Final Round.
The Preliminary Rounds will be held on 14th March, 2026. From that, 4 teams shall qualify in the Semi-Final Round, 2 teams will qualify for the Final Round on 15th March, 2026.
